The Redmi Turbo 5 starts at ₹41,999 in India for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹46,999. These are the current prices after Redmi recently increased the prices of both variants in India.
The Redmi Turbo 5 was initially launched at lower prices, with the 8GB + 256GB variant starting at ₹37,999 and the 12GB + 256GB variant at ₹40,999. The subsequent price increase means buyers now need to pay ₹4,000 more for the 8GB model and ₹6,000 more for the 12GB model.
The two available configurations are:
| Variant | Current price in India |
|---|---|
| 8GB RAM + 256GB | ₹41,999 |
| 12GB RAM + 256GB | ₹46,999 |
The price difference between the two variants is ₹5,000. Both versions offer 256GB of internal storage, so the main difference is the amount of RAM. For users who regularly multitask, play demanding games or keep many applications open, the 12GB version provides more memory headroom. However, buyers who do not need additional RAM may find the 8GB variant sufficient for normal everyday use.
The Redmi Turbo 5 is positioned as a performance-focused smartphone, so its price should be considered alongside its hardware. The phone features the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor, a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 7,540mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
The large battery is one of the notable features of the phone. A 7,540mAh battery can be particularly useful for people who spend considerable time gaming, watching videos, using mobile data or performing other demanding tasks. The 100W charging support is also important because it allows the large battery to be recharged at high speed.
The display is another important part of the Redmi Turbo 5 package. Its 1.5K AMOLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate are suited to gaming, video playback, browsing and everyday use. The Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor also makes the phone particularly relevant to buyers who are prioritizing performance rather than simply looking for a basic smartphone.
However, the current price should be considered carefully because the Redmi Turbo 5 is competing against several other performance-oriented smartphones in the same price range. A higher price does not automatically make a phone better, so buyers should compare the processor, display, cameras, battery, charging system, software and overall features before making a decision.
Online prices can also change because of discounts, bank offers, exchange deals and retailer promotions. Therefore, the price displayed at the time of purchase may differ from the regular listed price. It is worth checking the price of the exact RAM and storage variant before placing an order.
